I have tried a few other Barefoot wines... and they have been so-so. I poured a glass of this Cab and it was an average-ly red tone. I took a sniff and it was brightly astringent... red chiles and red berries. The first sip had a slightly over-ripe earthy flavor with a nice smooth finish. Then on the second and third sip it became much lighter and brighter with a green apple flavor. This would go perfectly with a rack of lamb and some steamed veggies. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
