If you know of a great wine bargain, please let me know by adding a comment here. I review all comments so I will definitely see it. I would love to find a delicious cheap Sangiovese or an affordable Nebbiolo. Thanks for keeping an eye out for those affordable, bargain wines!

You might want to try some of the Barefoot Vinyard wines. I have tried a few that I have liked. I like the Merlot and Pinot Grigio. Not FANTASTIC wines but pretty drinkable for the price. Give them a try. I would like to see your review. Again not fantastic but decent for the price.

I find that Chile really kills it on the value scale. Veramonte produces really high quality inexpensive wines...usually availble for 9-$10. The Sauvigon Blanc is a stand out, but the Merlot, Cab and Chard are also great. The higher end Pinot Noir and Primus red blend are also worth it for under $16-20.

Try The Big Kahuna at Fresh and Easy. I think it's $3. It's a yummy blend of cabernet sauvignon and shiraz.

We love it!

Robert Mondovi's Stone Cellers Pinot Grigio at 5.00 a bottle can't be beat. It's light, fruit and refreshing. Delicious chilled!

Try the 2007 La Loggia Barberra D'Alba. Great stuff and only $6.49 at Trader Joe's.

PS - Wish you posted more often. Love any wine aficionado who promotes good inexpensive wine...

Please try Lindeman's bin 50 Shiraz. We have no trouble finding it at 6 bucks a bottle, and sometimes find the 1.5 liter bottle at 10 bucks, a real steal. This wine rivals not a few higher priced wines and is relentlessly consistent. Remarkable for the price, it's our everyday red, highly recommend.
